Hello, I write on behalf of the entire board of oasis youth empowerment foundation based in Sagamu Ogun State of Nigeria to introduce to you what are our activities has been for this while and request for a useful working relationship with you for greater success in this noble service towards the overall betterment of all youths and children world wide. Underlisted is our profile and address/phone nos. OASIS YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION ORGANIZATION'S PROFILE The organization is known and called OASIS YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION . The organization is non-profit making,non-governmental and non-partisan. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES/VISION. The aims and objectives/vision of the organization is to RESCUE,EQUIP,PRESERVE,and REHABILITATE our young people ( youths and children) from decadence towards building/raising them as youths/children that will have HOPE, FREEDOM, FUTURE.LIFE and DIGNITY for SELF, COMMUNITY and NATIONAL development. THROUGH: 1. Intensive, practical and down to earth teachings/counselling on sexuality education, reproductive health, campaign against the spread of HIV/AIDS,drug abuse/addiction,cultism,armed robbery,prostitution,hooliganism,thuggery,advanved fee fraud(419),truancy etc. at educational institutions--- Secondary schools,colleges of education,polytechnics,universities and also at youth forum,parents forum, faith based organizations and other avenues through which we can reach out to youths/children. 2. Youth empowerment initiatives towards the building of a total ,complete,free,productive and independent man capable of self, community and nation building.Initiatives such as: a. Practical/vocational skills acquisition project towards self employment. b. Financial empowerment scheme. c. Rewards of academics, sports and vocational excellence. d. Talent hunt, discovery and their productive establishmnet. e. Education sponsorship scheme. 3. CHARITY AND MISSION PROJECT: Reaching out to the typically less priviledge and favoured. The uncared for ,forgotten,lonely and the seemingly non-existent through: a.Rescuing,repairing and rehabilitating street kids and those in slums to better and profitable living. b. Reaching out to abandoned children at the motherless babies homes/orphanages. c. Reaching out to prison and remand home inmates. d. Reaching out to the old people in old peoples homes. e. Assistance outreach to hospital patients who cannot pay up treatment bills. f. Mission outreach to the less priviledged, disaster victims, disabled and handicapped within and outside Nigeria; sharing and sending relief materials and parckages to them. g. Serving as volunteer relief/aid workers to disaster areas/victims in collaboration with other organizations like the international red cross society etc. 4. Community development projects/services: Provision of lacking essential/basic infrastuctures to communities towards their development. a. Provision of drinkable water through the sinking of borehole and well. b. Proper re- chanelling of their rivers to serve as means of bussines/revenue generation through fishing/farming. c. Provision of waste disposal means/facilities. d. Practical involvement/volunteering for community based work like drainage clearing,weed/bush clearing etc. e. Establishment of community centers for education/enlightenment on issues like HIV/AIDS,poverty alleviation/rediction/eventual eradication. f Campaign to promote basic literacy skill and adult literacy. g. Assistance in the provision of lacking materials/equipments to public schools. h. Public enlightenment campaign against smoking in public places.
