Dear friend

I leave Johannesburg on Monday for a week of training in Kenya. I will be
presenting our second level of training. the Foundations Seminar, to a group
of between 80 and 100 pastors and youth workers. They have been taken
through the Strategy seminar in recent months by Doug Holliday with Cadre
Ministries - praise God for partnership in ministry!!!

Please pray that God will have his hand over the whole conference and that
we will start to identify a key leader and a leadership community to oversee
the Sonlife disciplemaking movement in that country in the years that lie
ahead.

Some personal news.

Ashley, my ten year old daughter had an emergency appendix operation on
Wednesday this week and despite having had to fight off some serious
infection should be discharged today - we are rejoicing that we were able to
catch it in time. God is good.

We have also sold our two bedroom townhouse that we have lived in for 12
years. We made a significant profit and have had our offer on a three
bedroom house in
Greymont Hills accepted so we are praising God. There is even a two room
cottage out back that could be used as a Sonlife Office or for guest
accommodation. The house has a separate study, dining room and massive
kitchen. We can't wait to take occupation at the end of the year. God is so
Good!

We are praising God for the ministry we are experiencing in our church, His
People Johannesburg. I am privileged to be pastoring a family based home
cell, find myself in significant mentoring relationships with many of the
cell participants and Debbie and I are teaching in the pre-marriage course
on communication. God is incredibly Good!

Our adoption process with Drew Nguvu is progressing slowly - he is at least
registered now, although his birth certificate says that he is an alien. We
cannot wait for the day that he takes our surname and is officially a part
of our lives. Is God good, or what???

I would appreciate your prayers as I travel next week, for my family as they
remain behind; for the smooth wrapping up of the sale of our home; and the
speedy transfer of ownership for our new home as well as the successful
securing of a home loan.

Regards

Mark Tittley
Director, Sonlife Africa
