Praise God for His goodness!

Thank you so much for your prayers during the past two weeks as I travelled
to Gabon in West Africa. It was my third trip to Gabon and one that would
see the first group of delegates complete all four levels of our training.

There are times when we wonder why we do what we do, but spending time
living with God-fearing believers is an incredible reminder of how God is at
work in our world today. As we viewed a multi-media presentation by Steven
Curtin Chapman on the story of the missionaries killed in Ecuador, we
realised afresh that we serve God for the sake of those who have not yet
heard the gospel! And Sonlife believes that healthy churches are key to the
expansion of the kingdom of God!

I had much opportunity to reflect on the next stages of development in the
country and in fact in the whole region and this led to some significant
insights into the next phase of expansion for Sonlife on the continent of
Africa. Lord willing, we will have a gathering of regional leaders in the
Congo before the end of this year to talk through our vision and strategy
for expansion.
