Dear friend

Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Colin and I leave for Ghana on Friday morning for a ten-day ministry trip.
Ghana is the second country in Africa, after South Africa, where we will be
training our fourth level, namely Multiplication. Amos Kevin-Annan our
country leader will be hosting us and is arranging the trip for us.

Here are some of the prayer needs we have for the trip:
* Pray that God would protect us as we travel to Ghana and within the
country
* Pray for significant training and coaching in the three key cities (Accra,
Tema and Komasi)
* Pray that the trip will move the disciplemaking movement in Ghana forward
* Pray for our families as they remain behind in South Africa

We are grateful to God for a donor in the US who has provided the funding
for most of the trips we intend to undertake this year. God is good! We are,
however, becoming increasingly aware that the donors to whom we are
appealing for funding are willing to fund projects and specific ministry
needs but are loath to cover salaries and day-to-day running costs. This
means that we need to raise this money in some other way.

We are exploring two avenues.  The first is to raise support in the way in
which missionaries do by approaching individuals and churches for support.
The other is to explore some form of "tentmaking" where we find work to earn
money.  This option, of course, does mean that we have less time to do focus
on our primary task.  We are currently looking at options in management and
leadership skills training for business.

1. Please continue to pray for all aspects of our ministry.
