Dear friend

The founder of Sonlife - Dann Spader - has just sent out an email in which
he has presented a revised mission statement for the movement. I thought
you'd be interested in reading it to gain a fuller understanding of what we
are all about in Sonlife.

Regards

Mark Tittley

Dear Sonlife Multiplier:

As a key part of Sonlife's team around the world, we want you to pray and
think with us about the re-tooling of Sonlife's mission statement. While our
existing mission statement has served us well for several years (To restore
to the heart of the local church, a passion for Great Commandment and Great
Commission living), we feel there is a better way to reflect who we really
are and where we sense God taking us in the next decade.

First is the mission with a brief description of each component to follow.

Proposed Mission: To call emerging leaders to encounter Christ's person,
express his passion, and extend his global mission through his church.

Emerging Leaders: Our strategy is embedded herein in that we want to serve
churches, denominations, missions
organizations, etc. in calling leadership to the person of Jesus. It
captures our heartbeat for the next generation.

Christ's Person: This is Sonlife. It puts our Christology right in the
mission statement and calls us and the people with whom we minister to
continue to encounter the life and ministry of Jesus.

Christ's Passion: This is the Great Commandment. We want to call leaders and
their ministries to be lovers of God and lovers of people.

Christ's Global Mission: This is the Great Commission. We want to continue
to keep the disciplemaking emphasis in what we call leaders to be about in
their everyday lives and ministries. Further, we want to work and minister
in context with God's heart for the nations.

Christ's Church: We want to champion the local church as God's chosen
vehicle for fulfilling his global mission and keep the church, universal and
local, very central to who we are and what we're about.

Dann Spader on behalf or our Sonlife Leadership Team
