We want to bring your attention to a Joint Written Submission presented to the Human Rights Council this week on ways the Council can advance corporate accountability to human rights in the context of defining a follow-on mandate to the one of the UN Special Representative to the Secretary General on Business and Human Rights, carried out so far by John Ruggie. This submission is the first of a number of advocacy actions ESCR-Net and other organizations will be carrying out at the 8th Session of the HRC in early June. We will keep you informed.
