Just to update everyone on this thread, I put Steve in touch with the person I worked with on Google in Swahili, asking him what needs to happen to fast-track the Kinyarwanda localization. He replied quickly that he is no longer working on languages, but will pass the request on to "the powers that be." I will follow up with him after the US holiday weekend, seeing what we can do to open up a real conversation between those powers and the PAL partners. Of course, if you know other contacts at Google or other industry groups who might be able to help on this project or on our larger L10n agenda, let's all talk about how to bring them into the wider discussion.
