Dear Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai Thank you for the Press Release concerning the action taken against Mr. Jonathan Leigh. I will do as much as I can to alert our network about this. Sadly, stories like this do not get enough attention in the global media ... and I do not refer to the criminal action taken against Jonathan Leigh, but the initial article about a Government Minister building two mansions shortly after being elected to office. However, I am curious. Why did Mr Leigh print a retraction on the article concerned ... was this because his article was wrong ... or was it because he was required to do so because of some rule of law that enables wrongdoing to be hidden if you are rich and powerful enough. If the article was wrong ... that is one thing ... but if there was corrupt practice, that is another. The role of corruption among leadership is a matter of great concern ... the money flows around the elite at the "top of the pyramid" and the lack of support for economic activity at the "bottom of the pyramid" are matters that need the attention of the media and the concern of the global public.
