Project Coordinator for the

Removing Administrative Barriers to Investment (RABI)

Project in Sierra Leone


The Department for International Development (DFID) wishes to invite Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for a service provider to act as a Project Coordinator for the Removing Administrative Barriers to Investment (RABI) project in
Sierra Leone. The Project Coordinator will be located within the Policy, Planning and Research Division of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). The RABI project is jointly funded by DFID and the World Bank's Foreign Investment Advisory Services (FIAS) and FIAS is the implementing agency. The Project Coordinator will take the leading role within MTI, working closely with the Technical Working Groups, facilitating the day to day activities of the overall programme and providing the main interface with MTI on all issues related to the RABI project. This will include:

 

(i)   Developing a comprehensive work programme under the implementation plan;

 

(ii)  Coordinating activities with the Sierra Leone Public-Private Sector dialogue forum.

 

(iii) Coordinate the DFID Private Sector Development Strategy programme and other key

      initiatives to maximise opportunities for collaboration in implementing reforms. The service

      provider will be contracted for 12 months (with a possible extension of up to another 12

      months) and will be based in Freetown for the duration of the contract.
