Dear All Sons & Daughters of Africa,

I am writing this mail to respond to the whole circus of the South African High
Commission refusing to refund Visa applicants security bond fees. However, ever
since the whole debate begun, it seems to be evolving to a different angle, we
now have the Kenya airport issue etc. Let me share my little bit of experience
through my travel History, recently i happened to attend a peace conference in
Edmonton Canada where we had 2 Nigerian participants who received only 1 week
Visas in their testimony they said many Nigerians were denied Visas and they
themselves had to go through a lot to have the 1 week Visa. After that i
attended 3 weeks training program at the Coady International Institute in Nova
Scotia still in Canada, here we had various attendants from, South Africa,
Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Mali, Ghana
Liberia, Sierra Leone but non from Nigeria, when we inquired the confirmation
was that all Nigerians were denied Visas. Still, from the 28th-30th of October
2007 i attended a Crossing The Faith Line Conference in Chicago Illinois, still
i did not meet any participant from Nigeria yet we had participants from Kenya,
Tanzania, Uganda and many other African nations. Lastly, i have travelled to
Mainland China e.g, GuangZhou, but while you're there, the first warning you're
given is not to deal with any one you suspect to be from West Africa, they are
well known for drug trafficking, all sorts of scams, theft, and conning
business women and men from Africa of their hard earned money. My sister inlaw
while in Guangzhou survived a cup of drugged tea, with an intent of dousing her
so that they can take all her money she had gone with to purchase merchandise.
On Ethiopia airlines flights to HongKong, Guangzhou, & Bangkok you must be
alert with your carry on luggage otherwise you may have drugs placed in your
bag without your knowledge.

On average, on a daily basis i receive not less than 15 mails talking about
millions of dollars of people who suddenly died or about to die of Cancer, and
all of them have a reference or origin from West Africa. Many people have lost
millions of money in these scams. In this regard, the whole world seems to be
viewing the whole of West Africa in such a mirror, most especially Senegal &
Nigeria. This is a deep rooted and complicated subject that cant be handled by
individuals but by the governments of the involved Countries, what we're seeing
is just a tip of the iceberg.

Dear Nduka, Yemi, Ike and Nneka,

I am a Kenyan. Kindly please allow me to apologise (on behalf of other Kenyans
who share my sentiments) on the way that you were discriminated and treated in
Kenya. I don't work for Kenya Airways or involved in the issues directly in any
way but I feel sad about your experiences. If I could take this back in any
way..I would.

Hello All,

It is good to speak our minds online but it will be better to stage a peaceful
rally for our government to know what we are going through. It is my believe
that the government we've been having and the one to have is not for our own
good but for themselves and there immediate family. Majority of them holds
"Diplomatic Passports" and travels at the benefit of the people, so a change
does not come easily. Let us join forces to bring a change, the law of motion
says, "a body is in state of rest unless an external force acted on it".
Someone is watching you!
