Hello all,

The way some of these small countries treat Nigerians seem to me that there are
more to it than just been officious.

In kenya, we had similar problem. Kenyan Airways staff humiliated seven of us
while coming from Lusaka. We were meant to sleep over in the Airport when there
was a transit reservations made for passengers staying over night. It was only
Nigerians that were denied transit visa at the airport .We were forced to pay
$40 to stay in the sleepers lounge at the Airport. The lounge is so small that
it can hardly contain hand luggage. No fan, no TV, just 6 inch spring bed.

Despite all our pleas and willingness to pay the transit visa fee, the Kenyan
Airways staff and the immigrations insisted that we spend 12 hours in the
Airport before connecting our flight to Lagos. I was wondering what will make
me elope to kenya. If you have ever visited a place called Kibera, you will
know that Ajegunle is a paradise. Armed Robbery is very high even at the Jumo
Kenyatta Airport. What pained me more was the situation of the women among us
who don’t even have money on them. May God forgive those kenyans.

I have vowed that I will never fly kenyan Airways, even for 1 USD so has my
other colleagues has vowed.

Dear Children of Mama Africa,

It is absurd to imagine that an earsore story such as this will thrive
unhindered within our borders. It is a great shame that our 'government'
(afterall most of them forced themselves on us through rigging) could allow
this inhuman treatment and to imagine that it is coming from South Africa, a
country we stood by during the apartheid era, even makes it more nauseating.
I think we should do a petition.

My name could be attached as signatories.

As for those that are soiling our name, I guess they were just paying the
system that unjustifiably deprived them of the basics of life. But this does
not mean I support 'illegal migrants'.

Onward fellas!

Dear All,

This is very unfortunate situation, we are complaining that the foreign
embassies are extorting money from us, but if we can kill ourselves why wont
they do that to us.

I hope something will be done about it by the appropriate authorities
concerned. The earlier something is done about it the better.

One love Africa, United we stand, divided we fall.

Hello everyone:

I'm really amazed. Does this rule apply to only Nigerians? Does this have
anything to do with our international reputation, which has been tarnished by
some unscrupulous crooks?

We all have vital roles to play in order to resolve this global embarrassment.
