Mathematics is definitely related to IT. With a good knowledge of
mathematics, one is bound to get a better understanding of the inner
workings of the computer. For example, being that the computer can only
understand 0's and 1's, a good knowledge of binary mathematics is necessary
to understand the logic of the computer.

Unfortunately however, children have this impression of mathematics as very
difficult hence they always want to shy away from it. I think students
should be encouraged to love mathematics, teachers should try to relate
concepts in maths to real life situations so that things don't seem so
abstract to the students. I think science and indeed IT will be incomplete
without mathematics.

Hello all,
Well i have been closely waching this debate, i believe that mathematics is
actually not only important to IT but its actually part of IT,who can tell
me what programming is like without maths?

Guys i think this is what we should be thinking!
