?Information Technology and the Internet in Africa ? A Dream or Reality??
was the title of the AYF?s Symposium held in May 2001. Almost all African
countries are facing fairly similar problems when it comes to Information
Technology (IT). AYF?s Symposium tried to Address common problems facing some of
these countries. The Symposium participants used the event to develop joint
projects that addressed the common challenges. The report is now ready on our
