[A12n-entraide] Software localization in Lingala

Chers amis,

 

J'ai bien reçu de M. Gabriel la relation de contacts pour en savoir plus au sujet de l'évolution de tout ce qui a été fait concernant le Liboke Ya Congo.

 

Effectivement, le produit existe déjà et nous disposons:

 

1. D'une localisation de l'interface graphique icewm

2. D'une localisation du logiciel de traitement de texte Abiword

 

Le travail a été mis en veilleuse suite à des contraintes quant à la localisation des outils KDE, mais nous espérons et étudions présentement la possibilité de disposer en plus des éléments déjà localisés, des localisations concernant:

 

1. Le tableur gnumeric

2. Le browser Firefox

 

Ainsi, on peut s'assurer d'offrir un poste de travail minimaliste disposant d'un Unix pour matériels pauvres (PI, PII)--> voir distribution vum:box ou ubuntu <--- et une série logicielle constituant un point de départ (traitement de texte, tableur et navigateur web).

 

Nous sommes prêts à faire une demonstration dudit produit n'importe quand à Kinshasa dans l'endroit où il vous plaira. Et aussi à propager la bonne nouvelle où il le faudra...

Cher Mike,

J'ai envoye Nadia pour te voir. Je te prie de bien
vouloir(lorsque tu seras un peu calme) entrer en
contact avec Donald qui me lit en copie.
Ci-dessous les echanges de messages avec lui. Je suis
encore a Uvira et compte avec un compatriote physicien
(Robert Ngoy, il etait a Maputo avec Alain Ilunga) qui
travaille au centre national informatique (un ISP
burundais) commencer la branche ACOULL a Bukavu. dans
mes enseignements a l'Universite Catholique de Bukavu,
j'ai eu des jeunes tres bons et travailleurs mais
aucune connaissance de Linux et LL.
