As far as I know this symbol is not in actual use, the currency is currently writen FCFA (for international use) or F (for local use). The convertibility (?) of FCFA is so limited that it would anyway make no sense to have this currency symbol on an international keyboard. Or should we pray the Ancestors to help CFA become an autonomous currency, independent from Euro, free convertible?
Karl Pentzlin <mail-from-a12n@xxxxxxxxxx> a écrit : Unicode contains a "French franc symbol" (U+20A3, â?£, like a F with a second horizontal stroke). Is this currency symbol in actual use anywhere (especially in the countries using the CFA franc)?
(I need this information as I am designing an international keyboard layout.)
Thank you in advance for any help. - Karl
